I will also be interested in how to create a portamento effect so notes will "glide" from one to another. I think I can figure out how to get CC's to adjust variables for other features like LFO's, waveform selections, effects parameters, etc.
Getting the MIDI notes to proper pitch is my first hurdle. I think I can understand how to make a serial port become a MIDI interface, read the bytes and have it figured out what's a note command or CC command and get the values. I have seen a few examples of direct switch triggering of synths made with the Audio Board, but not one where you simply attach a MIDI controller keyboard like a M-Audio Oxygen 25.Ĭan anyone help me understand how to get a MIDI note on command message to trigger the proper pitched note in a synth built with the Audio Board and Library?
